The First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) has financed the construction of 25 new railroad gondola cars model 12-9933-01 for the amount of 21,6 million UAH on the basis of LLC “Diesel Plant” of the Aurum Group.
This was reported by Kostiantyn Misakov, Development Director of the Aurum Group.
“Under the terms of financial leasing from the FUIB bank, we will be able to replenish our fleet of the most demanded freight cars in the current year”, said Konstiantyn Misakov.
According to K. Misakov, the group plans to build new gondola cars, using the capacities of its own car-building plant, through financing from the FUIB bank and place them under the management of the company “Aurum Trans”, which is an operator of the rail freight transportation market.
“Taking into account the existing acute shortage of gondola cars in the Ukrainian market, the financing of the FUIB bank of the rolling stock is very timely,” stressed the Development Director of the Aurum Group. “We plan to expand the program of cooperation with FUIB in the near future and channel loan funds for the additional purchase of 100 car units,” said Konstiantyn Misakov.
“FUIB, as one of the leading Ukrainian banks, always carefully chooses partners for cooperation. The main criteria for financing projects of our clients are a sound financial standing, transparency of business, profitability for the bank and prospects for successful development. The Aurum Group meets these criteria, and we believe that this is not the last deal with this company,” said a Vice-Chairman of the Board of PJSC “FUIB” Artur Zagorodnykov, who administers leasing.
FUIB opened a new business area – the provision of financial leasing services from the beginning of 2018. For now, the bank has already formed its own database of potential customers with a portfolio of projects of 600 million UAH and successfully implemented more than 30 agreements, identifying priority sectors of the economy for further work on leasing. A special place among the main directions of development is held by the railway industry and financing the construction of railroad cars.
